Origin
Heritage Alliance, a 501(c)(4) non-profit, began in 1981 primarily to influence the Texas legislature by forming coalitions of groups and then assisting them in mobilizing their constituents and holding legislators accountable. Beginning in 2011, the scope expanded to nationwide.
Stewardship
Romans 13:1 says government authority “is established by God.” Instead of a dictator, President, judges or a legislative body, God, through our Founders – in the first three words of the Constitution – graciously blessed “We the people” with the highest governmental authority in the United States!
We can be good stewards and express our gratitude to God for this ordained authority by voting wisely and following His instruction to pray for our leaders (I Timothy 2:1-2).
