Letter from Richard Ford, Heritage Alliance President

Dear Conservative Texan,

Americans and Texans are amazingly patriotic. When outsiders attack us, like 9-11-01 or Pearl Harbor, our youth race to enlist and put their lives in harm's way for our country.

But if we do not monitor and hold our elected officials accountable, they can do even more harm than those outside our borders.

Because we truly love our state and country we'd gladly be better citizens if there were just a more time efficient way to do so. Well, if you will invest just 5 minutes a month, with the help of Heritage Alliance you can be in the top 1% of informed and involved citizens.

In 1975, when I was a 33-year old real estate broker, Dr. Bill Bright introduced me to the first Congressman I ever met. I didn't even know the name of my own Congressman. From that apathetic beginning, I've since learned a lot about lobbying, coalition building and campaigns.
